Hotel was clean , the hotel looks a little tired and could do with updating in certain areas the carpets in hallways and rooms looked well worn and not fresh. The rooms were fairly clean cobwebs in the bathroom and old food from previous guests in the fridge and the lounge chair was dirty and had large holes in the covers , Lots of chips on corners of furniture , windows was also stained on the inside of the double glazed unit obscuring the view. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. One thing that was annoying was no mention when booking there was no parking , only parking which was payable on arrival no mention of this . Overall not a bad place to stay but a little disappointed

Football visit, again!

Staff were friendly, pool was refreshing and breakfast was good. I was given wrong information about the bus prior to travel but checked it myself. I was charged for the room even though I had already paid through Hotels.com. I got it resolved eventually, it was disappointing to find that paying the hotel was £10 cheaper than what I had been charged!

Rooms nice and spacious. Could use a few finer points in room. I believe they are short staffed, the housekeeper I saw on our floor seemed to be the only one handling the floor. The restaurant was very expensive $10 for the cheapest beer. We really couldn't afford to eat there

I stay here often and in general it's a good hotel for business purposes. I like the beds and bedlinen a lot. Breakfast is good. Staff at Reception are always polite and friendly. Parking is no worry either. The gym and shower area may need some attention. At the time of my visit there were no clean towels (a sign said to get them at the pool, but the pool area was closed), Reception upstairs were very kind and gave me one immediately. The shower area had dirty towels scattered everywhere.

Couldnt rate this hotel more highly, Ive always liked double tree Hilton. Its an older building but well run and very clean. Nice swimming pool, breakfast was excellent and lovely patio area to eat. Staff very helpful. Have refreshments and papers in the lobby area. Rooms are big and mkne had a bath, which I took full advantage of.10 out of 10 for me. Thankyou Hilton

A nice hotel with friendly staff. A bit old. The pool was very cold, which was a shamw as we choised this hotel due to the pool. A bit outside of town, but free public bus every 30 minutes. Stayed at 17th floor, geeat view

The rooms were comfortable and clean. The night I stayed the restaurant offered only a buffet for 35 euro a person. Way too expensive. Not worth it. Breakfast also 25 euro a person. I did not have breakfast based on the experience of the night before.

Check in was slow as there was a lot of guests and only one person in reception. Evening food was only buffet with minimal choice and mediocre. Breakfast we were sent to first floor restaurant and food choice was not good. Also had to wait for some food items.

Only one person for check-in, while about ten persons were waiting. It took us half and hour to get our two rooms, after the person in charge sternly said that we only booked one room. She finally understood she was wrong but did not apologize at all. The check-out was barely better than the check-in, with again only one person available. The parking was convenient, but it did not provide receipt (no ink) and here again the person in charge did not help, at all.

Overall very good, downside was the wait time for the lifts, this hotel has 19 floors and when it was built in the mid eighties the 3 lifts would have been efficient but not any more as sometimes the wait time is 10 minutes and when they arrived they were nearly always full up. The breakfast room is manic and the area where you pick the food up is chaotic just not big enough for hundreds of people. The rooms are lovely and big and well decorated, towels and linen were excellent, being disabled we could park outside the hotel which was helpful as I wouldn't want to pay the 25 euros for 24 hours for parking, but we noticed that during our stay the barriers were permanently raised.
