1850 House highlights
One of the most impressive aspects of the 1850 House is how accurately everything within it represents the era. All the furniture, decor, and items in the house are time-appropriate to the point where you really do feel like you're stepping back in time with a visit.
When you explore this museum, you'll find several options to explore one of the most prosperous eras in New Orleans history. You can book a professional tour led by a curator, or you can simply explore at your own pace taking it all in as you see fit, albeit with less context.
