A solid hotel. Comfortable bed, bad pillows. Unfortunately the thermostat made a sound every time it clicked the AC on or off (sounded like a soda can opening) that woke both my wife and I up every 15-30 minutes, so not a super restful stay.
Other than that, the rooms were clean, the location was great. Parking garage right next door was easy and convent. Lots of construction around downtown Kansas City, but that's not the hotel's fault and none of the construction noise entered our room.
No luggage rack the room was odd (I feel like people who design hotel rooms don't stay in them), but the desk in the room gave a nice large, flat surface.
