AVOID IT, AVOID IT, AVOID IT!!! - unless you like to have uncertainty travelling to the hotel.
When you are at Stansted bus station, Google maps tells you have to take the bus number 309; if you call the hotel, they tell you exactly the same thing.
However, you can't find anywhere the 309 at the waiting lane panels outside the airport, nor anybody is able to tell you when this will come (if!).
Google tells this bus runs every hour around hh:45 - big surprise: sometimes the bus is coming, sometimes not.
So I ended up walking for 1h14 minutes to reach the hotel during a winter night.
Romantic - if you ask me. The road is dark, muddy, a piece of it is on the side of the motorway, you can see a lot of stars, rabbits.. Also, aeroplanes landing..
Considered the situation, the only thing the reception should be able to do is giving you exact details about buses - they should know buses do not operate every hour (despite what stated on google maps), preventing you to loosing time waiting maybe endlessly.
The only thing they are able to do is suggesting a taxi instead (30£ more one way!).
Lot of road works around the area since a year, and they do not even know customers may encounter difficulties with bus schedule!!! In two simple words > useless reception!
Also, many of the other hotels around the area have dedicated shuttle buses every 15 mins, not this one though...
Last but not least, the rooms are ok but outside the hotel there's a dull whistle like an alarm door or something
