Room was clean, well designed, good size and comfortable. Location was convenient and nearby many subway lines and restaurants.
But, there were issues, and communication felt tacky and unprofessional (not like anything I’ve experienced before). Issues included door code didn’t work and we had to contact for an updated one.
There was such a scarcity / cheap mentality of things like coffee (2 packs for a 5 night stay), exactly 2 towels for my husband and I (so don’t think of one for your hair or if one towel gets dirty), and no cleaning during stay.
Most unfortunate and uncomfortable were the multiple emails that pretended to asked if we needed anything. When we asked for a one hour earlier check-in or late check-out we would be happy to pay for, that wasn’t available. Instead they pressured us to check in later than the 4pm checkin time to give the cleaning staff more time. Then we had folks at our door before check out time. They also emailed us to let them know as soon as we are out so they can come in to clean. I wouldn’t stay again because of how unprofessional and tacky this communication was. Just let us check in at 4pm and check out at 11am as we paid thousands for without all these emails to let them know if we are arriving later or leaving earlier so they can have more time to clean (though they never cleaned during our stay).
