I was a little disappointed with the stay overall. Hotels in Switzerland are not cheap and this being a 3 star hotel I assumed it would be fully functioning and comfortable.
I booked it knowing that it was part of a conference centre, however what I was not expecting was my room to look directly into the conference centre meeting rooms, it was very unsettling and I felt like I had to have the curtains closed at all times. I was in room 317.
I was also unable to use the gym for unknown reasons.
The restaurant was not open the entire duration of my stay either.
The windows don't open like in many hotels now, except there was no climate control in the room just a vague dial that said +3 or -3, whatever that means... It didn't work anyway and would just make a lot of noise and no difference to the temperature in the room.
A couple of positives though, I was not expecting to see such a multitude of plug sockets, all the various European ones including UK/Malta as well as US/Japan.
Public transport is also pretty good, the hotel is well served by bus routes in all directions, rail and tram as well as being connected to a shopping centre with a large COOP store that you'll need as there's no longer a restaurant in the hotel.
