Very happy Canadian travellers
This is a great hotel our first time but definitely return in the future. The pool is large and heated with a bar attached so you get the party vibe. It is an older hotel with very nice updates. Everything was spotless the bed and linings we super comfortable
We ate 2 times once at both restaurants. Both meals were delicious
Close to old town which we Urber yo got a cost of around $14

6/10 Good
Nov 5, 2024
Our room developed a roof leak from a rainstorm.and
when we asked to move to another room the registration staff wanted us to stay in our room and send up engineering which would not be of any help as water was dripping rapidly down onto the carpet. We insisted on being re-located into a different room and the way the registration handled that was to send up new keys to a new room by an outside security staff member with no instructions as to where the location of the new room was, or any assit to help move our belongings.
Further no apologies/or compensation of some sort was offered. Possibly a breakfast or lunch for the inconvenience of awaking to a leaking ceiling and moving in the dark from an inside hallway to an outside pathway 3 BUILDINGS AWAY IN THE RAIN AND IN OUR PAJAMAS.

4/10 Fair
Oct 18, 2024
It’s basically a spit shined Howard Johnson.
If economy is the main concern, this is your spot. I only stayed here because of an industry event being held in its event area, never again. I am surprised the owners would let this property look so rundown - it is a great location and could be so much more. Even the parking lot asphalt was coming up up in giant patches, you had to roll out slowly to miss the potholes.

Ok but would not stay again
The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was old and had a musty smell that would not go away even with window open. Stained carpet but Bed and bathroom were clean.

Probably wouldn’t stay again
I didn’t sleep well at all. The bed was not comfortable and being on the bottom floor with a giant window leading to the parking lot didn’t help. The old windows didn’t close all the way so there was a little whistle. It was really dark inside, Low lighting. Not a lot of bathroom counterspace.

8/10 Very Good

Very good overall, food options could be improved
Very good: Staff friendly & helpful. Clean and tidy. Big rooms, nice buildings and grounds. Good location.
Not so good: Main restaurant closed in evening, Their cafe food is ok if you are hungry and tired. Parking is $24 a night. Breakfast is in the restaurant and not included. It would be nice if they had a quality breakfast buffet, which for me would earn them a 5 star review.
