"Check-in was horrible. AFTER pulling into the parking garage entrance, there's a closed gate and a sign saying"check in first". After calling the front desk, we were grudgingly let into the garage "for just a couple minutes". That seemed rude -- not nearly enough time for us to unload and bring our luggage to the front desk. The hotel is at the end of a pedestrian street, so there's nowhere else to unload.

"Location: Excellent—right on the main square with plenty of restaurants nearby. Parking available at the back of the hotel.
Room: We stayed in the main hotel (not the annex), which appears newly renovated. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a quirky bathroom window overlooking the main room.
Dining: Breakfast was quite expensive, so we opted to eat elsewhere, though the on-site restaurant is well reviewed and popular.
Notes: Great base for exploring Bastogne; would stay again for the location and comfort."

Only negative with the room was the motion sensor lights in the bathroom continued to kick on throughout the night and shines right at the bed. Pool was ok, we didn’t get to use the sauna’s due to specific spa rules.. Hot Tub wasn’t in operation which was unfortunate. Location is fantastic and the restaurant was good. "

"The hotel receptionist Pedro was fantastic. He was professional, helpful and kind. He should be promoted to manager. The kitchens delivered up delicious food. Our server in the restaurant was forgetful though. We stayed one night in the Design hotel and the other night in the Kroener connected sister hotel. Both of our rooms were beautiful, well decorated, spacious and clean. I recommend these hotels. "
