The Courtyard is an expensive three star hotel (the four stars are an exaggeration) close to the Bastille square. It's location in this dynamic part of Paris, not too far from the iconic attractions and next to the Gare de Lyon, is an important plus. Although our (two adults, two kids) stay in Paris was a success, the hotel has a number of irritating (French?) flaws. The bathtub was so incredibly high that our kids had difficulties in climbing into it themselves. We asked ourselves how some of the other older guests or those with kids managed and how a pretty modern hotel had a bathtub in the first place. The room was rather small and lacked space to manage luggage and clothes decently, but it was some sort of comfortable, especially when you travel without the kids, and pretty clean for French standards. The double bed, however, we had to sleep in was unstable because the upper part was disconnected from the upper part. The lobby was incredibly small and in most countries would have cost a hotel a star. The breakfast was excellent, but the breakfast room not up to the number of people staying in the hotel.
Overall, a slightly overpriced but comfortable three star hotel in a nice part of Paris.
