when we arrived for our 2 night stay no one at reception, choices at breakfast buffet mostly empty both mornings we stayed {and we were not late}, ie basics like butter, milk, juices, bread, fruit, all empty ,we had no order taken for a cooked breakfast ,some people got up and left after waiting to long for their cooked breakfast, tables were not cleaned after use, I have spent lifetime in Catering and they need more staff on at breakfast {only seemed to be 1 young chap}no disrespect to him but need more experienced people on and the reception situation is quite frankly ridiculous, no body around at anytime of day, I stayed there with previous owners and everything was of a decent standard ,the current owners are new to hotel ownership I gather but they certainly need to put more staff on and to put more effort into their customer satisfaction especially breakfast time because if they do not they will struggle to get guests retuning and will not be Hotel owners for very long in my opinion, it was a Scotland Rugby weekend and busy but Im pretty sure none of the guests there that morning will return
