It was one of the most unpleasant experiences I've had in years. When I arrived the entrance looked more like a run-down old apartment block on the wrong side of town - I had to climb 3 flights of stairs in the dark using my mobile phone for light, past doors that had been reinforced with a sheet of metal to keep burglars out. To top it off there was no one there even to open the door! I had messaged the owner as they had requested to let them know when I would arrive, and still they kept me waiting for half an hour with 'we're 5 minutes away'. The room interior can only be described as junkyard salvage, with some kind of camping bed, and worst of all, an old duvet cover stuffed with feathers which pricked me all night and kept me awake, and which smelt of vomit. Thank goodness breakfast was decent but I was happy to leave.
