I recently stayed at this property, and while it boasts a stunning location right on the bay, my experience was disappointing due to poor management and a lack of attention to detail.
The location is fantastic—close to popular restaurants and nightlife. The property itself is gorgeous, offering incredible views of the water. However, the hotel lacks the leadership and hospitality expected from such a prime spot.
Upon check-in, the owner was sitting off to the side in the lobby on his phone, offering no greeting or assistance. A young man walked us to our room, but no one offered help with our luggage, which was surprising.
The room was clean but shabby and outdated, with an exposed light switch plate in the bathroom. The decor felt neglected, and there was a table on the upper deck right outside our window, allowing us to hear every conversation from guests sitting there.
The restaurant on the property is beautiful, offering fantastic views, yet it was completely empty during our stay. In contrast, the restaurant across the street was bustling with a great atmosphere. Given the location, the hotel’s restaurant should have been the go-to spot, but it’s clear the property is poorly managed.
Overall, while this hotel has incredible potential, it needs more care, attention, and stronger leadership. With proper improvements, it could be an amazing destination. As it stands, it feels like its best days are behind it.
