Title: Terrible Experience – Rude Staff & Poor Customer Support
I had an absolutely awful experience with both this hotel and Hotels.com. I drove 10 hours straight from Alabama to Fort Lauderdale, exhausted but relieved to have a reservation already confirmed. However, when I arrived at the hotel, the front desk attendant barely looked at me and coldly stated that there were no rooms available. She rudely told me to contact Hotels.com for a refund without making any effort to resolve my situation.
To make matters worse, the phone was ringing right in front of her, and she completely ignored it, letting it ring without even acknowledging it. Zero professionalism and no concern for customer service whatsoever.
Hotels.com was just as useless. Instead of helping me find another place to stay, they just told me they would “investigate” and “process my refund.” I didn’t need a refund—I needed a place to sleep! Their response was completely unhelpful, and I was left stranded late at night, forced to book a much more expensive hotel at the last minute.
This was an absolute nightmare. I will never use Hotels.com again, and I strongly do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Save yourself the frustration and book somewhere else!
