This hotel was disappointing overall - the level of service was below what you expect from a 5 star hotel.
Arriving at 1450 on a hot day you don't expect to be asked brusquely to wait in the lobby until your room is ready, no water, no smiles or even a kind word of welcome.
We were then given a bit of paper and told where the elevators were - they didn't even tell us about breakfast times or wifi.
Then they forgot to put the bottle of wine in our room. I reminded them the next day, and we returned afterwards expecting them to have resolved the problem, but no, still no wine!
I had to remind them a second time.
Breakfast was also disappointing, finishing at 10am on a weekend, and the selection was worse and smaller than most NH hotels with only 4 stars.
We needed to use the concierge, and on the first day she had already left for the day. So we tried again the second day, and even before lunchtime again there was no more concierge service.
The receptionist wasn't able to recommend any bars for a drink, and the restaurant he suggested didn't have a time slot available until very late. So we used a restaurant app and booked online that same restaurant for an earlier time than he was able to find for us.
When we checked out on the third day, again no smiles or goodbye, and of course still no concierge.
This hotel should have 4 stars, and even then some of the other 4 star NH hotels are still better.
