In general, better than nothing.
Apartments are under renovation: make sure you get one with wooden floor and not carpet. Bathroom had no window or outside opening: lot of humidity and smell. Air conditioning was only in the bedroom not in the living room. Refrigerator had no water, so we had to fill bottles at the swimming pool.
Cleaning is only done once in a week and not very well. Staff at the reception is aware of the various problems and is very helpful and friendly. Late check-in is not possible (penalty), but staff at the reception can provide with comfortable alternatives.
Wf-fi is good but watch out: you can only connect up to 4 devices (not people).
Area is strategic if you want to visit the island, as it is right in the middle and close to the airport. Nice beach, but you cannot swim there (like in several other beaches in Kauai).
