The property/setting is in Miraflores, the second most affluence district of Lima. A very safe district where one can roam day or evening. The building, is non distinct and does not even have markings (due to security issues or maybe new proprietors??). Location is very good, with the ability to walk to a variety of local sites (i.e. Parque Kennedy, Cat/ Dog Park, etc.). If up for walking, even a stroll to the ocean is possible.
As with all my reviews, I will attempt to detail the top 3/bottom 3 attributes of the hotel. In addition, see my Money tips and rambling thoughts.
Top Three attributes
1-Staff. The staff is extremely accommodative. The proprietors (Rafael & Pillar) catered to every need. The airport pickups were flawless and other arrangements were met without any hesitation. When dealing with a variety of properties in the country, I found it difficult to get replies to e-mails, but this was not the case with this property (very prompt). Cab ride arrangement, clear and known price (up front). On the language front, they do try their best to accommodate non-Spanish dialects. I believe that one of their sons (Diego), is fluent in English and he is very helpful if present;
2-Location. As mentioned, the property is in a very nice Lima district. Close to the Indian/Peruvian markets, Food markets, Parque Kennedy, etc. Excellent restaurants (i.e. Las Tejas/others) are near also. Beware of some of the Italian
