It was OK. Very well located near the Spanish Steps. The staff was wonderful upon arrival. The room was comfortable but a little run down. 3rd floor (US) no elevator which was fine for us. They had a person to take the bags up for us. Overall ok.

Overall has a great experience with the Spanish Suite. Location was outstanding and loved the convenience of everything, appreciated the friendliness and ability to leave luggage pre check in and post check out. Suggestions for improvement: guests could be met at property rather than what seemed like unnecessary track to reception. I also missed the whatapp communication until last day and the messages i received via Expedia were automated not addressing my specific questions. But all in all, property is great value for money and would recommend.

The building is old and so are the facilities inside. They have 3-4 hotels with the same name in the nearby locations and you get realky confused which one to go to. The best thing about the hotel is its location as it is near to the main attractions of the city and has lot of good food options nearby. The staff is very friendly and supportive and do their level best to facilitate you.

The location was good. But the room, though it looked great in pictures, was a bit rundown and fairly dirty. Paint chilling off of the walls in the bathroom, stains on the headboards, tons of suitcase scratches on the white painted walls. Location is excellent, but the condition was significantly less than advertised.

Room did not look like it was advertised and was far from the main office so we had to walk back and forth when checking in. Little confusing on where your room actually is. Overall the room was clean and staff was nice, but our refrigerator did not work the entire almost week stay even though we told the staff. Room was a couple blocks from check in area and with luggages it was hard to walk around.

Great rooms however there was no hot water and showers are not well maintained. staff at checkin was great but we had a hard time reaching the staff in person and via whatsapp day before our departure to help schedule a pickup van. Not a normal hotel but rooms in several apartments in different buildings in the same central area. All the rooms are unique and all managed by the same front desk on Via ripetta. I especially found the staff to be very kind and helpful - Mikeala and Melissa at the front desk made extra effort to make sure I was happy with my room and it made a big diffirence Thankyou!

I really liked the hotel! It was amazing !it as more like an apartment! The girl i don’t remember exactly her name (anita maybe) was so so nice!!! The location was 10/10!!! We had a good stay. It was within the main city, close to many attractions, making it easier to manage the day with a big family. The rooms were clean, with room service available. For the price, I think it covered what was required. Rooms were tight, not allowing for much movement, especially with a baby. But you spend little time in room when visiting Rome so not a big concern for us. L Check-in was later than advertised and we had to wait 45 additional minutes to get the rooms ready. Overall we had a good stay.

Terrible Experience – Avoid the Spanish Suite at All Costs Our experience at The Spanish Suite was appalling from start to finish. The rooms we were given were completely different from those shown in the listing, at a totally different location and substandard, and filthy. We checked out immediately and booked another hotel the same day. The staff were unhelpful and dismissive, forcing us to contact Expedia directly to resolve the issue. After intervention from Expedia, The Spanish Suite claimed they would provide a full refund, yet only half the amount was returned to my card. I later discovered they had retrospectively applied a 50% “discount” to the booking to avoid paying the full refund. Thankfully, Expedia’s customer service team stepped in again and recovered the remaining balance. However, two months later, The Spanish Suite has still not refunded the city tax they charged to my card. This establishment is dishonest and poorly managed. I strongly advise avoiding The Spanish Suite altogether.
