Very (uncomfortably) tiny bathroom. Shampoo packets had less than a teaspoon of shampoo (even my husband's short hair had trouble with that) Bed was extremely comfortable, pillows good, nice visit.

When i got there said they were sold out and it was Hotel.com's fault. But had an "emergency " roomthey could give me. Bathroom was dirty, shower used with dirty wet toels on shower floor and dirty bathroom. No hot water. Horrible experience

Scottish Inn definitely needs some updating - but looking beyond that, it had amazing towels, comfy beds, with real blankets (as a frequent traveler, that's not always the case). Showers are from the 1940s-50s but a simple tile paint would fix that if there are budget constraints - it's a diamond in the definite rough - but I'd stay there again :-)

The motel was inexpensive and had good reviews, so this is why I chose The Scottish Inn. And, the reviews were right, comfortable beds and clean rooms. The rooms are dated, but if you are staying for the night, you will be asleep anyway and won't care. The free breakfast is a very minimal continental breakfast, so if you are a breakfast eater, I suggest going out for breakfast. We ate at The Griddle in town and it was good. I would stay again for the price and comfortable beds!

The facility lacked cleanliness. The hot water tap in the shower was stripped and so just the knob turned and no water came out. There were areas where the floor was soft and it felt like you could easily fall through. The gentleman at the desk was very friendly. The bed was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was simple, but adequate with very fresh bagels, cereal, yogurt, etc.

The property was okay but they offer breakfast and I asked the lady at the front desk and she said that they haven't ordered anything ,but I think that that is not my problem, because I pay extra for the breakfast and they didn't serve any breakfast so if you're planning to stay there because of the breakfast don't do it because they don't serve any breakfast, because she didn't order anything that's why she said?.

First off, be aware....we booked a hotel room for 4 people (the listing showed a queen bed, but we thought there would be a pull out couch for the other 2 people). When we arrived, we were given a room with one queen bed with no way to sleep the other 2 people. When the owner said that was the type of room we booked, she gave us another room, but charged us an additional fee for the other room which actually would sleep 4 people. We also asked that night where to come for the "free breakfast" that was advertised with the hotel stay. We were told to come back to reception and that's where breakfast would be. When arriving back there the next morning and asking about breakfast, the same woman informed us that there was no breakfast because she didn't want to serve us stale food. So, then on top of needing to pay an additional fee for another room, I had to then take my family all out for breakfast. When booking a hotel, I calculate the cost of my stays according to whether breakfast is provided or not. So, this was very frustrating to me. I never would have booked this hotel had all the facts been transparent. Additionally, there was either a crazy person or a woman on drugs screaming outside of our room, with paper thin walls and door, cigarette burns in the comforter, and a door that looked like it had been kicked in at some point. I had read the reviews before booking and it sounded like this was a pretty nice place to stay, but I was not impressed with it at all.

Like- bed, linens & room clean. Dislike- room was dated, small, toilet & shower were in 1 room. Sink around the corner with sm microwave & old frig. Heater was loud but worked ok. Second time we've stayed in Expedia motels & have been put upstairs in older, dated rooms. Stair railing was shaky & hallway lumpy.

Heavy cigarette smoke in lobby/ check in. Old, worn out. But the woman at desk is sweet. Clean, comfortable bed and quiet. No soap in room. Tv remote broken, etc.
