Geothermal harnessed hot tub

Grothermal hot tub all to our very new fresh and clean cabin. Great place to stay in Iceland. The onsite restaurant had happy hour and amazing food!

8/10 Very good

The Girl that checked us in, served the food and checked us out the next day was great. I feel like she’s the only person that works there lol. It was great to have a private hot tub. Only complaint was the kitchen area in the cabin smelt like seafood but at least the sleeping areas did not.

Pleasant stay in Iceland

We enjoyed our stay here. It was centrally located for the various sites we wanted to see during our brief stopover in Iceland. The cabins were charming. We would have liked to have had blackout curtains in the living room and not just the bedroom, but everything was clean and comfortable. The workers were friendly; we'd recommend staying here.

Wonderful accommodations! Great living space. Clean and comfortable. We were here with a family of 4. We loved the hot tub! We also enjoyed the breakfast. Great location if doing the golden circle and want a quiet place to stay. Would definitely return!

Outdoor jacuzzi pool for each unit is greatly appreciated, especially when the weather was cold and damp.
Jackson, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The outdoor hot tub was a great feature, preparing us to the hot springs we have met later that trip. Good cabin. kitchen didn't have some general items like salt as those are being sold in the cabins store.
Alon, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

We came back after 4 years. Still the same as we expected. Very nice cabins, relaxed and quiet
Robert, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

Nice individual basic cottage. Only stayed one night but kitchen looked well stocked with kitchen items if you were to cook. Bathroom shower was small but hot water was hot and pressure was good. Dark enough outside for viewing northern lights. We didn’t use the hot tub but it looked like people enjoyed it.
Dara, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The property is actually over a 20 minute drive from Selfoss. Buy anything you want to cook prior to going to the property as there is nothing nearby/remote. The staff informed us not to open the windows due to biting flies....which made the rooms hot. There were no screens. If you want to cook in the rooms bring every consumable that you need. The restaurant is nice and prices are consistent with the rest of Iceland. We did enjoy our stay here and would stay at here again.
Jerry, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

We booked a hot tub room and the hot tub was very hot! My son loved it. The accommodation is a bit tired but we were only there for one night and again my son loved it. Nice and spacious. I was disappointed that breakfast was not being served and we had not been informed about that. The restaurant was very nice and reasonably priced.
Alexandra, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

We stayed for three nights and the accommodations were comfortable. But the front desk/customer service was lacking in both visibility and accessibility. Perhaps in the off-season when there aren’t as many visitors, they just concentrate on when the restaurant is open from 5 PM to 9 PM. We ate there twice and the food was great. It was great to step outside to your own hot tub also.
Suzanne, 3-night trip

Gott om rum. Bra kök. Skön bubbelpool. Läge bra för södra Island.
Marie, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Très bon séjour de 4 nuits : emplacement top pour rayonner dans le cercle d'or et au Landmannalaugar, tub appréciable en fin de journée de randonnée et possibilité de se faire à manger. Bon restaurant également.
Marie-France, 4-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Great friendly place to stay.

We were only going to stay for a day, it was an emergency stop because my wife was feeling ill. I spoke with Frida and Ragnar and they were so helpful with our needs. We decided to make their place out home base for the next 4 days. The room we had bosted a sauna that helped get my wife better. Frida and Ragnar had true country charm and made our stay memorable. We would most definitely stay here again on our next visit to iceland!
julie, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

No frills here but adequate

Great location between Selfoss and the must sees of Gulfoss, Geysir and Thingvellir. Chalet style accommodation. A bit dated. Bedroom which has a double and single bunk above very small with bud against wall. Kitchen within living area. Kettle but no teabags or coffee. If you are staying bring your own and some basic provisions for breakfast. Restaurant on site was ok for dinner but breakfast only available if pre-arranged.
