A picturesque motel in Twentynine Palms

9 Palms Inn Motel is a very picturesque Motel overlooking the village of Twentynine Palms from the hill. The indian landlord is a very friendly person that keeps on trying to make you feel at home with all your requests. The beds are comfortable, the shower, the fridge and the heating-air condition are all working well. Private car parking in front of each unit. Nice restaurants in the area.

Camera davvero ampia con 3 letti matrimoniali eppure ancora tanto spazio. Il signore del motel è molto gentile. Bella l'idea di tutte camere colorate,rendono l'ambiente unico e davvero carino. Comodo parcheggio davanti all'appartamento. Unica nota negativa,il tutto avrebbe bisogno di un rinnovamento,intonaco scrostato e accessori bagno arrugginiti.

Good for the price.

Owner is a sweetheart. Room is clean, spacious, unique, central to 29 palms, top of the hill view of the desert from the shared porch. Parking right at the room. A few inconveniences are that the coffee is terrible but plenty of cafe's around. The internet is completely useless, I couldn't even get a speedtest to work and used my hotspot or went to Starbucks. The electrical is over-extended - my laptop would not charge unless I shut it down. Plugging it in caused the lights to dim. There are a lot of appliance noises (AC but other things) inside and out, so it is not quiet. Depending on what you are doing, for me these were minor inconveniences for the price. But full disclosure, I live on a sailboat, so it was a mansion to me.

I’ll be staying here next time

The stay was overall great! This is a locally owned hotel with nice hard working folks in charge! The rooms were big, spacious, were equipped with a kitchen space with a fridge and microwave, and the bathroom was big and well equipped. Great super competitive price for the area too!! My only con to the property is that the rooms absorb quite a lot of heat during the day making them TOASTY during the night. While it was in low 40s outside, inside we were in the 80s. The AC was very very noisy and not efficient at all so we had to leave it on for a while and couldn’t sleep. The windows had mesh but it was damaged so we were scared bugs would come inside and then we definitely wouldn’t sleep at all. However after leaving the AC on for a bit and putting on a fan (it includes a standing fan!) we were able to turn off the AC and sleep! Beyond that, the property is really well maintained, very clean!! For everyone concerned about bed buga when traveling, the rooms don’t have carpet and were well cleaned. This alone decreases the bed bug survival in comparison with your traditional carpeted hotel room. It also helps the room cool faster for the hot nights! For those complaining about paint- please chill!! It’s a hotel, not the color of your home! I enjoyed staying at a vibrant, locally owned place, with close access to the park, and a short 2-5 min drive to restaurants and more services.

Colorful gem in Twentynine Palms!

This little colorful hotel is not a five star boujee hotel….BUT it was a small quiet place that had colorful rooms and comfortable beds to sleep on. TV and air condition worked very good. Went to climb in JT for 3 days and the place was perfect for us. There was some people that lived there but were very nice and kept to themselves! Felt safe and let me tell you about the manager what a warm friendly welcome we received from him. We happened to go the week that Coachella weekend 2 fell on so all the rooms were either priced super crazy high or they were booked up! Well I had RSVP a week before so we had the room for 2 days we then decided we wanted to stay again Friday night so we went to ask the manager and he had 1 room available and let us stay! The place is clean and not all fancy and shiny so to speak but I highly recommend this little gem to everyone a big plus is the sunset is spectacular from any of the rooms on the property! The prices for the room’s are so reasonable!

Love it

Delightful understanding owner let us stay and pay until we heard back from a new job position in Arizona he actually refunded us one day when it was time to leave. The owner made several improvements while we were there including panting parking lines on newly resurfaced parking lot and adding more art to the building with a colorful zen painting and and windmills The cabins all recently repainted are cozy and quiet with astounding sunrise views full size fridges excellent TV with many channels hot water excellent AC and heaters Starbucks a block away got all my Walmart and DoorDash deliveries no problem privacy is respected and parking right outside your door. Very safe and quiet. Wish parking lot was dark at night so I could see the night sky but appreciate the security even though it’s a safe area. I can’t say more about the positive vibes and comfort here. I spent the last two New Years Eves here which felt nice at the top of the hill watching the first sunrise of the year. The owner reinvests in his property and has pride in it which makes this place shine like a gem Thank You!

Rustic

Friendly gentleman who checked me in to this solo facility at top of the hill. Clean room but poorly maintained. Bed light non-functional, a/c very loud, shower handles fell off, no hanger bar for clothes or suitcase holder, guests VERY LOUD next door both eve and am, rustic would be a nice way of saying what I am saying. You get what you pay for.

Unique little desert abode!

The room I got was set up studio apartment style! Pretty decent in square footage considering it’s an hotel and had an offset room with small dining area, fridge and food storage. Full bath tub to soak a plus. Nice, clean set of towels. Overall great value!
