Charming well run inn. Staff was wonderful and everything we had from Champneys was delicious. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. My only small "complaint" is that the dining room was overly bright. Putting some of the lights on dimmers would make the entire experience nicer and more cozy, Bar area was perfect and they make good drinks too!

Terrific staff. When we had to shorten her stay by one day they handled it beautifully. They warned us breakfast on Monday and Tuesday is pretty scant. It's a charming area of town and of the region also

Musty hallways in the carriage house

The property was lovely, well-maintained, and in a beautiful location. The breakfast was excellent, the staff was kind and professional. My only issue was the noise in the parking lot late at night. I was awoken from a very deep sleep by some men having a loud conversation outside, presumably after leaving the restaurant/bar. Only after I got out of bed and knocked on the window did they stop.

Everything was wonderful for the most part! It's such a cute little spot and definitely perfect for couples. However, the breakfast was only a muffin and coffee and there wasn't a choice in muffins. One morning it was peanut butter and chocolate chip muffins and my husband has a peanut allergy. The other thing we were disappointed in was the lack of mini-fridge and microwave in the room. Other than that we enjoyed our stay!

Over the 4th of July weekend, some days breakfast was not served; I should have been told in advance. Also, advanced notice is needed regarding the beds; all are elevated in the main house, requiring wooden steps (precarious for me); the beds of regular height are in the carriage house. Customers need to be forewarned and given a choice.
