Not close to the center or to the S-bahn (but close to the bus stop), it should be chosen if you have no other chance or if your budget is limited. The Bridge Inn is connected to the Holiday Inn, in which you have to check in and in which people a bit wealthier (or smarter) stay. Nothing really wrong with the Bridge Inn, but everything not more than average if not poor. Hundreds of rooms equal, too small for two people. Bathroom doesn’t exist, the sink is next to the bed as well as the wc and the shower, separated by ridiculous, partial and insubstantial glass doors (forget any privacy if you are not 100% familiar with your roommate). Noise is a companion given that the hotel is very close to a busy road. Beds and pillows are just acceptable and there is hardly any space for moving. Breakfast (which starts at 6.30 a.m.) is not sufficient, as it doesn’t have much choice (not even a croissant?); Just what you need, but don’t expect to enjoy it or to find quality food. The last day I had to catch a flight in the morning and the breakfast room was closed with no explanation. I had to go all the way to the other building (5 minutes walk) to ask the receptionist the reason. He told me (a bit smugly) “it’s holiday today”. Yeah… what if I have to go home?
On the 3rd of my 4 days the room was not cleaned or tidied.
So book a room if your expectations are not high, if your budget is limited, if you need a place just to sleep (with someone you know very well) and nothing more.
