The room was clean, the staff was nice, pet friendly, had a river view room and it was really pretty. There was a wedding and a party going on across the street and they were extremely respectful of the quiet time being 10pm.. I don't think I even heard them past 9:30.

We had the best weekend here! Our room was very nice and clean. I loved the rustic feel. The kitchenette had everything needed, and it was so nice having a full size fridge. We loved the fishing dock, we caught many good trout right from the dock. We did not use the pool but it looked like fun! We can’t wait to come back. Not sure for how long but the restaurant has a temporarily closed sign.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and updated cabin that even had a full size fridge, coffee maker and stove top with dishes. We got the one with a river view and it was relaxing to sit on the porch each morning. We plan to be back!

This was our first time staying at the Lucky Trout Lodge (formerly Lindsey's Resort) on the Little Red River but it will not be our last! We've decided to make it a "weekend get-away" favorite! The view of the fog rising off of the river was so peaceful. Even though we didn't catch a trout...listening to the trout hit the water-top while watching the river roll by this newly redone dock touched my soul! We enjoyed it so much that we asked Courtney if she had an open room so we could stay an extra day! The grounds are well maintained and the pool was nice! The rooms are very clean, the beds are comfortable! There are grills all over the property for guests to use and refrigerators in rooms! Now...the restaurant is currently under construction but be patient with them as they grow! I know we'll be excited to try it when we return.

This is a great little hidden gem. My husband I were just looking for a place to sleep for the night but they had an awesome pool right next to the river. The restaurant is closed for renovations, but the rooms are super cute and tidy. Would even be a perfect winter romantic getaway. Rustic and a little kitchenette in each room. You can access the room from the front or back door and each unit has its own personal grill. The pool sits in the center of the backside of the rooms so it's maybe 100 feet from the room to get there. 10/10 recommend for an affordable and awesome experience.

The Lucky Trout Lodge felt like revisiting a trip from my childhood. It is a quiet motel on the river with a quaint and rustic feel. We stayed in the triple room with 1 king and 2 queen beds. There was a refrigerator, oven/stove, microwave, and coffee maker. The room was spacious but the shower was a bit small. However, it was perfect for what we needed! We enjoyed strolling around the property and a nice dip in the pool. The river is beautiful, foggy, and cold!
