I have nothing negative to say about Sanguineto. It was the perfect little place for my mom and me. Gorgeous grounds, a wonderful little appartment with equipped kitchen for cooking, beautiful decor. Of course the views of the countryside are to die for, and this is an easy place to get stuck in! In fact, we extended our stay, even if it meant double booking a hotel in Rome -- Sanguineto was just too good to leave!!! Then of course, the staff are fabulous. They don't speak much English, but it didn't seem to matter. Through a combo of my broken Italian, hand gestures, charades and noises, we understood each other. And the result was long "conversations", heartfelt laughter and too many smiles! Just wonderful. And of course, the wine & olive oil they sell is marvelous (oil is made on site too!) I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sanguineto, or even better, to go back!!!
