This is my second time staying at SSAW Hotel! I’ve stayed at both their Shanghai and Hongkou branches, and both experiences were amazing. The rooms are very clean, and the service is excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Shanghai. It’s in a great location and conveniently close to the metro.

Location was very good and near to attractions, with good tea and coffee at the lobby. take note that the room was we had was very cold thou (18c max in winter) and the bathroom door could not be closed, The hotel tried, but could not fix the situation, nor change rooms maybe due to high occupancy. Overall still a nice place.

Breakfast had a large variety of options, asian and western. Property was beside a metro station which made getting around the city easy. The Bund was a short walk and so was Nanjing Rd. The shopping area to the north on Huahai Rd was a 10 minute walk. Definitely a great location.

Wonderful stay, 5min walk to yuyuan metro station. Room is modern and has everything you need including a mini fridge. I didnt have breakfast here. Check in / out was fast and easy, would definitely stay here again.
