Το ξενοδοχείο Κωνσταντίνος Παλαιολόγος δεν έχει reception. Το check in θα πρέπει να γίνει στο Βυζαντινό που είναι αρκ ετά κοντά. Δεν είναι κάτι τρομερό αλλά αν είσαι κουρασμένος μπορεί να σε εκνευρίσει, όπως εμένα. Τελικά είχαν διαθέσιμο δωμάτιο στο Βυζαντινό και αποφάσισα να μείνω εκεί.

This is an old building without an elevator and a long and dangerous staircase. The building is not air conditioned; only the bedrooms are. The shower handle was broken and the shoewer booth was too small.

Kind of ok I guess....
We stayed in the annexe building, which is around the corner from the hotel. There are no clear signs in English, so without the help of a friendly local shopkeeper, we would have struggled (hint, get a small multi language sign to help guests!). Annexe and Hotel are in walking streets, making arriving by car difficult. Annexe is an older Byzantine Building I believe, quite grand. Only a small dumb waiter style lift for luggage, so guests take the stairs. Rooms are spacious, but the bathrooms are poorly utilized, containing a clunky large sink unit, toilet squeezed into a corner, and the worlds worst designed hotel shower that can only described as a leaking Doctor Who tardis that was so small, you could not change your mind in it. Breakfast was ok if not poor. Can't say this was a favorite, though Patra itself is a surprisingly cosmopolitan Greek city with great bars and food.

To ξενοδοχείο ΚΩΝ.ΠΑΛΑΙΟΛΟΓΟΣ είναι παράρτημα του ΒΥΖΑΝΤΙΝΟΝ. Είναι κρίμα όμως που, ενώ το ΒΥΖΑΝΤΙΝΟΝ το έχουν στη τρίχα, αυτό το έχουν μάλλον παραμελήσει. Το κτήριο εσωτερικά είναι ωραίο, τα δωμάτια μεγάλα και καθαρά με όμορφα έπιπλα. Όμως παρατηρεί κανείς φθορές στους κοινόχρηστους χώρους και στα δωμάτια των επισκεπτών που δε νομίζω να κοστίζει και πολλά η επισκευή τους. Στο βάθος της εισόδου είχαν στοιβαγμένα παλιά έπιπλα και κουτιά απο μπογιές που χαλούσαν τη γενική εικόνα. Το αιρ κοντίτιον στο δωμάτιο μου ήταν σα να μη δούλευε με αποτέλεσμα να κάνει κρύο ενώ μύριζε έντονα τσιγάρο. Με λίγη προσοχή αυτό το μέρος θα ήταν κόσμημα όπως το άλλο ξενοδοχείο.

Great location
When I arrived the check in was in a different building with a different hotel name which was very confusing. The room was lovely and in a great location but the lights & air conditioner wouldn't turn off. I had to turn power completely off by removing key, but then I couldn't charge phone overnight.

Το ξενοδοχείο είναι ελαφρώς ασυντήρητο σε σχέση με το ομόλογο της αλυσίδας του(Βυζαντινό),σε καθαριότητά,εξοπλισμό κλπ.Το πιο άσχημο όμως ήταν η ηχώμονωση καθώς εξαιτίας του κεντρικού σημείου η φασαρία από το δρόμο και τα γύρω clubs ειδικά τη νύχτα ήταν παραπάνω από ενοχλητική.

Very disappointing hotel
The hotel is located right at the main square of Patra, in a very beautiful old building with nice decoration. However, this beautiful atmosphere should be complimented with the relevant, if not an upgraded service. Our room was not cleaned for two consecutive days and it was done so only after we complained. There were cigarettes left in the fireplace, torn sheets on the bed, rough old towels, drainage problem in the shower and even the shower's door was broken, and uncleaned entrance and common areas. The facilities were very basic, although with the amount paid and the general look of the hotel, one would at least expect a nice bed (not the tough one provided), water in the room and tea/coffee making facilities. Given the fact that the reception was located on a different building a minute away, there was no information provided on how to access the reception (we only found a shut door when arrived and had to call. Also, the phone number of the reception and the wifi code was not provided in the room. Finally, the breakfast was not rich, mostly with sweet pastries and food which was almost off and not covered during the whole morning. Although the staff was polite, they did not seem to understand our complaints. The overall stay was not pleasant and we felt that with the amount spent, the hotel should provide a much better service. We would not suggest this hotel as there are equal hotels with the same or better price.

Attention : CHAMBRE sans aucune fenêtre !!
Ceci parait inimaginable mais c'est pourtant VRAIE. La chambre est sans fenêtre, aucune vue, aucune fenêtre. Il existe UN petit velux de 0,6x0,6 comme seule ouverture et appel d'air, sinon c'est la climatisation qui fonctionne mais bruyante.Sinon l'hôtel est bien situé (rue piétonne très fréquentée) et la ville Patras est très agréable.

Very nice hotel, great, friendly staff with beautiful restaurant below that opens to a pedestrian only street. Great place for a glass of wine at the end on the day or cup of espresso the next morning! Only down side was that it is hard to find, especially if not from the area.

我到的时候已经下午十一点多了 和一个德国小伙拼的车从港口到酒店，但这个酒店的check in 在相差十几米的旁边一条街上的拜占庭酒店，否则直接在20号敲门是没人开的，提醒一下

interesing historical hotel
Hotel is decorated in old stile - very nice, Good location in the city, Good breakfast, the hotel and the reception are in two different locations and it was difficult to find the hotel itself. No elevator in the hotel.

Hotel está bem localizado no calçadão do centro
A identificação do hotel é precária, letras pequenas, o google maps não o identifica bem. O próprio pessoal local teve muita dificuldade em apontar o local, um morador local circulou comigo perguntando pelo hotel, moradores aliás muito gentis. Parece muito mais um bar do que um hotel.
O local de pouso é distinto da recepção e a cerca de 50m no calçadão, é fácil para chegar ao terminal de ônibus para Atenas.
