I had a disappointing experience during my stay at L’Emeritage. Upon arrival, until our departure , there was no staff at the reception, and repeated attempts to reach someone through the provided telephone number went unanswered.
Parking was another issue—despite being advertised, there was no clear information about parking availability, and no one was available to clarify where to park. They don’t have a designated parking.
Additionally, my mother and I had booked two separate rooms for our stay, yet we were assigned rooms in different buildings located far apart. This arrangement was highly inconvenient and did not meet our expectations for a coordinated stay.
It also appeared that our room used to be the main area of the house, as the primary heater was located there. In December, the room became unbearably hot at night. We attempted to use the air conditioner to cool it down, but it was not working.
The windows were full glass and lacked blackout curtains. As a result, we were not only woken up by the early morning sunlight but also disturbed by the bright streetlights throughout the night.
We stayed for two nights and never saw a receptionist or any staff member to discuss these issues. Despite calling the provided phone number multiple times and leaving messages, no one responded or returned our calls.
Overall, the lack of service, poor communication, lack of parking and disorganized room assignments made for a frustrating and disappointing stay.
