It was actually not a bad stay. Room was clean (though the floor could have done with a more thorough once-over), bed was comfortable, sheets and towels were clean, TV and air conditioner both worked. Bath fixtures & tile were moderately new looking but white paint was slopped everywhere (sink & taps, electrical plates & switches). While traffic is heavy during the day, there was less at night so not too noisy. Getting to the Inn was not easy because I didn't see the hotel sign (was it even there?). If you get to the point in the attached picture, you've missed the gate. I only knew I had missed the gate because I saw the sign for Venture Inn. So I had to make a U-turn (in heavy traffic) to get back to the entrance. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was ... more like lunch: egg salad sandwiches, chicken noodle soup, french fries. Oh yeah there were fresh pancakes and the coffee was okay. My main reason for giving it 3 not 4 stars is that while everything was comfy it was old and overdue for renovation. I'd stay there again though I wonder if other rooms were less clean & comfy (going by other reviews).
