This property is a wonderful little tropical paradise at the doorstep of the archeological site. Their private access to it is an exclusive and convenient plus. The restaurant, at the heart of their business, has a lovely terrasse overlooking the palm trees and is professionally managed. It is overall good but really nothing to write home about and substantially overpriced. What is slightly disappointing is the hotel. Although the rooms are overall nice and quiet, they would need some upgrade, including as regards the currently very basic amenities, to keep up with the management's pretensions. Same with the pool, huge and neglected, and other facilities. What is particurarly bothersome is however the very unprofessional management at and around the reception. This was an overall great stay for New Years eve, but if the hotel intends to keep their five-star prices they should do some investments in both stuctures and human resources.
The spa has internationa standards and prices.
