We reserved a 2-bedroom apartment at Keefer House because it’s within walking distance to Rogers Arena, and a better deal than two hotel rooms. While the location is great for restaurants and pubs, we wondered about security after dark. We’re happy to say we felt very safe with the security measures in place. We loved the keyless coded entry to the facility, the elevator, and our apartment. The apartment itself was spacious with a huge modern kitchen, sparkling clean, and well appointed with all the appliances, including full sized washer and dryer. The free coffee beans were a nice welcoming touch. We didn’t miss the front desk of traditional hotels since our communication with our hosts by email was fast and efficient. The staff members are gracious hosts, to say the least. We enjoyed roaming through a part of Vancouver we’d never seen before. We hope to stay at Keefer House next time we attend an event at Rogers. Any down sides? Don’t expect a nice view if your unit faces the alley, but it’s relatively quiet away from street noise.
