Perfect location! The rooms were clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We loved the historic charm of the inn. While it could use some updates throughout, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

It is a really unique and cool place; I like the history. That being said, they have a roach and mold problem. We found several both dead and alive in our room. I am disappointed that the front desk did nothing to remedy the situation. They simply passed it off to management who never got back to us or offered any sort of solution or compensation for the issue. For the price paid, I expect at least a pest free room. If I knew this problem was fixed, I would stay here again just for the beautiful location and history. Sadly, though, I can’t recommend it due to those unsanitary room conditions and the lack of response from the staff.

Such a wonderful, quaint place to stay on a quiet lake. The hotel is a trip back in time. We were there Wednesday-Friday. The town is super quiet. The hotel was quiet on Wednesday night, but then on Thursday night the bar was open and was so much fun to hang out in and met others. If you are looking for a quiet, restful place, this is for you.

This is an older, classic and classy hotel. Stayed here several times and will keep coming back. It has a beautiful bar that unfortunately is only open Thursday through Sunday. Rich in history. Stay here, Patrick did. Make sure you go to Lastrada's restaurant for the best pizza in the world.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Lake Lure Inn & Spa! The hotel's rich history was fascinating, and knowing that Hollywood legends have stayed here made exploring the property even more special. We also enjoyed strolling through all the charming shops in Chimney Rock. Finding out that the inn is so pet-friendly was the icing on the cake—we'll definitely be back!

Nice lobby, can tell it used to be a nice hotel and has a lot of history. Room was small, stuffy and smelled like mildew. Very disappointed in the room. The room and bathroom were clean. Bar and restaurant not open until Thurs and I arrived on wed. I got the creeps and didn't want to stay there. I did not spend the night.
