I called ahead of time to ask for a ground floor room. Person I spoke to had very little English speaking skills or understanding. After a while, I thought he understood. When we checked in, first he gave us ground floor, then said there was damage to room and gave us an upstairs room. Didn’t want to insist, so took room. That room was freezing cold and we couldn’t get heat to work, so had to move to another room. This property, though not stated until check in, requires a $55 deposit for “incidentals”. They charged my card on top of nightly rate. There was a lady working front desk when we checked out and I expressed my feelings on that deposit and she refunded my card. Also, after 11 pm, the lobby is locked and closed until 7 am. If there is any problems after 11, there is no one available to help. We will never stay there again.
