A hidden gem
Super nice place in a small quaint town.The hotel is super elegant, romantic and bouchy from the moment you enter the lobby. The arched ceiling, incredible wallpaper, elegant furniture and fun lighting elements.
The bar is beautiful and the restaurant small and cozy. The food at the Independent is amazing and well as the wait staff, especially "Hunter". However, there were a few misses as far as the front desk not directing where the elevator is located or the ice machines.
The rooms are spacious with king size beds, but again seem a bit disappointing in the overall design. Getting off the elevator which too has wallpaper and walking in the elegant designed hallways to a sterile room was a little disappointing.
Absolutely No art work on any of the the walls, no back light mirrors or 10X face mirror in the bathroom along with a shelf located on the floor under the vanity was odd to collect your towels. They used an exterior steel door for the closet, still trying to understand why.
The hotel and town is quaint and overall the stay was great and has an outdoor bar and firepit, which was wonderful.
The only disappointment would be the desk concierge did not tell you where the elevators were located or the ice machine
