The location is very convenient to Shinjuku. The rooms are small but clean and up to date.
The service is excellent! We speak no Japanese but wanted to send our luggage forward to our next destination. They organized that service for us, calling the next hotel to confirm our reservation. When they found a Suica card on the floor in the lobby right after we went upstairs, they followed us upstairs to check if we dropped it. When we needed a fan, they brought one right away. When my daughter locked us out of the room, they got us a replacement key easily.
The rooms are tiny, with almost no distance between beds. We got 2 rooms for the 4 of us, which was the right decision because we are big and tall. The rooms were spotless. The bathrooms were sparkling. The shower was soaking and rejuvenating. The beds were comfortable. They cleaned the rooms every day.
Nighttime was quiet. This hotel is uphill (a bit) and a few blocks from all the action so it’s not loud. Nearby is a park and a few shops like an electrician supply shop. There is a 7-11 about 2 blocks away.
