The room was clean and spacious, I don’t have too much to say, i can only say that the quality of the room is an ok and appropriate for people who wish to stay at least a week. However, the bedsheet that they staff provide me, was a short size compare a bed which is a king size bed. A/C is included. Breakfast is included if you pay it at the concierge, or not.

Good location near S and U Bahn, city centre on walking distance. Good breakfast, nice to sit with view over Spree. Good size room with air conditioning. Our room was not facing the street so it was quiet. Very friendly and helpful staff. More hooks, shelves and hangers in the room would make it easier to keep clothes and items in order. A mini-fridge to cool water bottles would have been useful as the weather was very hot.

Wir wurden herzlich von den beiden Damen an der Rezeption empfangen. Es gab für uns ein Upgrade auf eine Suite mit Balkon und Blick auf die Spree. Parklücke wurden gleich entsprechend entwertet. Ein Frühstück haben wir vor Ort noch dazu gebucht. Dies ließ auch keine Wünsche offen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, wenn wir wieder in der Hauptstadt sind :-)

I stayed at the Neuer Fritz for the Berlin Marathon. The location is convenient for getting to the start, public transit, and shakeout runs along the Spree, but there were several issues that made the stay difficult, especially for a marathon weekend. Our room was consistently hot and muggy, despite overnight temperatures around 50F. The air conditioning/fan had been turned off for the season, and when we asked the front desk to turn it on, we were told this was not possible. Opening the windows was the only way to get airflow, but the hotel is above several restaurants, and there was significant noise until around 4 a.m. each night. They did give us a portable fan, but blowing hot, damp air around a room has its limits. The front desk experience was also lacking. We arrived shortly after 11 p.m. and the desk was still staffed, but the employee initially ignored us as we stood outside with our bags unable to open the door. When they let us in, they told us to use the self-check-in machine since it was after 11. The touchscreen barely worked and the entire process took upwards of 20mins while the front desk worker watched us struggle. The room was noticeably more worn than the photos suggest. We found a silverfish in the room when we arrived. Three stars for location and because hotel experiences can be worse.

Das Zimmer war auf dem ersten Blick sauber. Wir waren 3 Nächte da und entdeckten Flecken am Bett an der Türe auf dem Plastikboden. Eine Grundreinigung + Renovierung wäre nicht schlecht.
