We booked a deluxe room with a queen bed weeks in advance. Upon arrival, we were told there were no queen rooms available. Instead, we were given a room with two single beds. Staff said they would “make it one bed,” but the beds were just pushed together, leaving a gap between them, so my partner and I slept on separate beds.
The beds were worn out, the sheets had makeup stains, and the entire room was filthy. The floor was covered in dust, dirty shower, grimy toilet with two half-used rolls of toilet paper, and a clogged basin. Water from the shower flooded the entire bathroom. The water from the basin was brown, the reception said there waa nothing they could do
The wifi didn’t work, when we complained, we were told to just keep turning it on and off, it never worked. We asked to have our room cleaned, but were told the cleaners had already gone home.
Dinner was another disaster. The menu was uninspiring, so we tried pizza, but it was bizarrely crispy and tasted awful. When we went back to our room, the AC had turned into a heater. Two staff members stayed in our room until 1am trying to fix it, without success. Asked for another room, we were told there weren’t any available, not even a fan was offered. We had to sleep in suffocating heat, in the desert. The manager didn't care. Thanks to Expedia support staff who stayed in contact with us, helping us out because the manager didn't give a damn. We left after one night, out of 3 nights.
