To avoid!
Need to tell all the story here. My overall rate is due to the experience I had. Arrived quite late in the evening, about 11.30pm. Couldn't give any notice because our mobiles didn't work in NZ for some reason, and payphones only worked with credit cards, and our were not accepted. When we arrived, nobody was around and reception closed. We rang several times and nobody came out. There were "emergency numbers" on the reception door, we tried to call but again our mobiles didn't work. We found another hotel customer who offered his mobile and called those numbers but nobody answered my calls, so we ended up sleeping in the car. On top of that, early in the morning we saw someone around and the lady told us that at that time they wouldn't pick up the phone #what if there was a real emergency?# and that they were upstairs sleeping, not true because when we arrived a light was on upstairs. The lady was not even sorry that we spent the night in the car. Eventually I got into the room I paid for at 7.30am. The room was ok but overall a terrible experience. Avoid!
