Free limited parking but more spaces on main road Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Our double room was nice and warm with a comfy bed. Shower had plenty of hot water. Furniture was dated and the wallpaper needed replacing. A continental breakfast was included, plenty of food available, although choices were limited. A one and a half mile walk along a straight road to Anfield with a McDonalds and a few small newsagents along the way.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. All the staff that we met were friendly and helpful. The hotel appears dated but the more you look around the communal areas it was quite quaint. It is a couple of miles outside the city centre but ideal for us as we were visiting friends in the Kensington area of Liverpool.

We were very grateful for a room so close to Anfield and the staff were absolutely lovely, but the free parking wasn't available as they have more rooms than parking spaces and we were about worried parking on the roadside, which it was suggested we do instead. We slept quite well, despite doors outside our room that regularly slam loudly. We couldn't shower in the morning though as the water literally just trickles out. This was blamed on too many guests showering at once, but another guest said it was the same at midnight when it's unkikely anyone else was showering. Not being able to shower isn't really acceptable at any price. Breakfast was okay - a continental buffet with cereal, pastries, toast, fruit and cereal. Liverpool won, so overall a great trip!
