Only had one person at front desk.got there at 3:45pm to check in.guy said it would be $15 more for early check-in.so we waited till 4 pm.pretty sad to want to charge you $15 more because you were 15 minutes early.So then at 4pm the line was getting long.only one worker to check you in.they might want to re-evaluate their early check in policy.

Upon arrival our check-in was fairly easy. There was a $15 early check-in but we happily paid it since we had drove a few hrs. The staff were friendly and helpful for the most part. We had 2 rooms as we had 7 to our party. The rooms were large with a sitting area, table/chairs and tv and sink in, & then a good size bedroom. Cleanliness was fairly good. Noticed a little grim on the out side corner by the shower but nothing nasty just a hard spot to get to. The only oddities was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, and no literature telling where things where at in the hotel or surrounding. Only a book about visiting KC. All in all 4 stars and will stay there again.

We stay specifically for the convenient proximity to The Dome. The parking is convenient and the indoor walkway to the dome is the way to go, especially during winter/early spring. Unfortunately, you walk thru/past the casino area so the smoke smell is sometimes lingering but they do a good job at air purifying and it’s not horrible. Worth it, for the climate controlled walk to events when we go.

Stayed here recently and had a great experience. The rooms were clean and the hotel has really nice decor throughout. There’s a big commons area with a bar and plenty of seating, which makes it a great place to relax or meet up with people. The casino on site is a fun bonus, and it’s convenient having several food options right in the hotel including Starbucks, Morton’s Steakhouse, and a couple grab-and-go spots. The location is also excellent—right across from the Dome at America’s Center—so it’s perfect if you’re in town for an event. Overall a comfortable stay in a really convenient spot.

Would not recommend. Smelled like smoke, blood on curtains, stained sheets, only decaf coffee in the room, 2 towels for 2 people for a 5 night stay. They would give you more upon request, but they don't do during stay cleaning unless you request it.

The room was out dated the blow dryer did not work and we had to drive to gas stations to warm up our food because there are NO microwaves available… very disappointed for the amount of money they are charging. They also charge 19.99 for a resort fee and say for parking but parking is free

Want to start by saying none of my complaints are with the staff they were great. I feel bad they have to work there. But the carpet was sticky and dirty in the room. Sheets stained paint chipping. Took 18 hours of ac being on max at coldest setting to feel any difference in the room. Went to the bathroom downstairs and found a 2 inch long cockroach staring at me while I went. The bathroom was so filthy I felt I had to shower in the room after using it and I used to work at a meat locker so I'm not easy to gross out but when I stay at a hotel I expect it to be clean. Pool is no longer in use. It's not the hotel I remember as a kid. It went way downhill in the 14 years since ive stayed and I will not be returning until they clean and do an update

Thermometer was broke in our room but maintenance fixed it within mins. Arrived for check-in a little early (3:37pm) and was charged a$15 fee per policy. Never had that type of fee at any other hotels but wasn't hanging around in the lobby for another 25mins after traveling all day. I would stay here again as the casino is just a short walk as well as the Dome at America's Center. Room was decent for the price and location.

This was a very poor choice! Last minute booking due to some very bad weather we chose this hotel but it was a terrible choice. The guest service was on her ear buds the entire time she was checking us in. Just chatting away like we didn't exist. At times I thought she was talking to me but no she was on her cellphone, having her own conversation. Hotel seriously needs some updates. Looks old and danty. Dirty carpet that didn't get vacuumed properly. Bathroom door didn't lock, no coffee in the morning. No one at the desk to check us out. Overall, we will not come back to this hotel again!!

Nice place. No blankets in the rooms-by time I got back to the room to realize that housekeeping was closed and the front desk people said they don’t have any anyhow. Room was cold even once I had the room heat turned all the way up.
