We stayed for two nights, Glen Ellen is a nice quiet friendly town, The Jack London Lodge is an unpretentious, clean, quiet motel-style place, has a nice pool & grounds, ample parking, the units are very spacious, large vanity, etc.
Only possible criticism would be the bathroom is a little dated and the mattress was super soft, not to our liking but you cant please everyone.
Around the Lodge is the Jack London Saloon (best calamari hands down) with a good beer and food menu, we were lucky to catch live music and see a great community have fun. A little market store accross has everything you might need and also has a hot deli if budget is key.
Easy walking are wine tasting rooms, a Michelin star restaurant with very reasonable prices, and a true French Patisserie and coffee place. Two minutes drive and you have Benziger Vinyard. So glad we stayed here and will be back for sure.
