WORST STAY EVER. APPROVED BY TOURISM? Can't be!!
Virtual Front Desk control of 3 facilites? Must be kidding. On arrival at 8PM, no Access Control Pedestal for the provided code, told by someone on the phone "you must be at the rear gate" despite not being a "rear gate" at THAT property. 20 minutes driving around searching for a "front gate" to ending at the "rear gate", told I had to get out of my car and walk towards the gate to find a "small" keypad on the wall, unmarked and unlit, lacking any kind of protective from possible rain. At the parking, voila!!!, no one at front desk. Once again, on the phone, asked the registration email form; instructed to walk toward my room to open it with another keypad. Upon returning the next day, "phoned" again to retrieve the access code for my "room" being asked on which hotel/lodge/MOTEL I was staying so, there was more than one being managed by SIRI/ALEXA or whatever was at the other end. WOW, StarTrek experience!!! Ended up walking away the next morning without meeting a living soul other that the girls in charge of maintenance. NASTY unfinished floors and walls, unpainted, full of plaster patches, unable to tell if clean or not due to raw masonry. Open shower with no hot water running to bathroom and room floors. Access and safety: Was I given the SAME access code used by the previous guest? Street gate's don't change!! so, anyone can return. Guess it, NO guards! An expensive nasty cheap 8-hour-fun road motel without a cold beer/soda or snack, or else, found for $50 elsewhere.

Comfortable and easy stay
We stayed just one night. Checked in at 9p after an evening flight, and the staff was very helpful and nice about checking me in over the phone; she gave me all the information I needed. Location is great and easy to find. There are several restaurants you can walk to from the hotel, and the beach is walking distance, too. The secure parking gate helped me feel safe about leaving several, big and heavy suitcases in the car overnight, so we didn’t have to haul them upstairs. The room and bed is comfortable, lots of hot water for the shower. Minimum noise at night.

Affordable and super nice
The room was cozy, smelled great and it was very clean. They took advantage of the cement finishes making the deco modern. I had access to a private yard with a huge tree and a hammock. The night sounds from the forest next to the property were incredible. The heated pool with jets helped me relax so much after driving around the island all day long. I will definitely return.

Great stay, even better service!
My experience with the team! Gabriel, Chris and Milagros made sure I was accomodated with assurance knowing I would land at 2am. Milagros stayed up until I made it in the room and had everything I needed. While on property Leslie was excellent. Answered all my questions and provided me with everything I needed. Really enjoyed my stay!

We arrived at the property at about 4:30 p.m. and were able to open the gate with the code provided. We entered a parking lot that looked totally abandoned. A decrepit gray industrial-looking concrete building stood before us. No other cars around. The sign on the door asked us to submit some personal information which we did. Shortly thereafter an email arrived acknowledging receipt of our information with no further instructions. We waited about 45 minutes, standing in the heat in front of this creepy building. Nothing came. Finally 2 other guests arrived. We asked them how they got in and they said they had called the reservation number posted on a nearby sign. We called that number repeatedly, but after ringing about 20 times, the message said no one was available and disconnected. Finally at 5:45 a lady answered and confirmed that she had received our information, but needed us to text an ID. That took another 10 minutes. Finally, she gave me a code for the lobby and instructed me to go to the 2nd floor and find a specific room number. She also gave me a code for the room and we were finally in. Yay. Her final instructions were to inform us that if we touched the 2 water bottles in the room, we would be charged, even if we didn’t open them. Final straw, after coming back from dinner, the room code no longer worked and we had to call again. The only good thing about the stay was the maid who was terrific.Water in the shower never got warmer than “cool”. Disappointing!

Not Recommended for Ladies Traveling Alone.
Terrible check in experience. There is no one on site. Entrance had no lighting and was gated. You need to call a number at the gate to perfom the checkin via an e form, scan your ID, etc. I would not recommend this place for ladies as it is a dark, u secured area until you are finally able to get in the compound. I will not stay nor do I recommend it for families or females traveling alone.

Disappointing
Hotel has a great location and it’s private but the downfalls are : not having hot water in the shower , too noisy neighbors , having to call the customer service to complaint about the loud noises until past 3 am . Also since it’s in a country area , get used to hear a rooster from 4 am until daylight , and cats from the next door , abandoned home . This was now in Jan , I imagine getting worst during summer time when more people rent. People were inconsiderate on 2 nights in a row from 2 neighbor rooms which is unacceptable to happen during weekdays . It compromised my sleeping and worsened my sleep apnea . I’m very disappointed with the hotel , after reviewing the pics of the site . Also was confusing to see in the website pics , the room deluxe as having a private jacuzzi which was incorrect . We were assigned on the 3nd floor

No reception area/guard or any personnel on site EVER! You arrive to a closed entrance gate without a guard, you have to call a phone number (glad I had my phone as I normally do not use it during vacations) to be let in the property. Then they tell you to scan a code (again the phone) and once done registering online to call them back for access codes. To come and go I have to memorize 2 different codes, the gate and the door to the room and if you want ice you have to memorize a 3rd code to the main lobby. I then had to deal with a couple of drunks playing loud music and singing karaoke and having very loud intimate relations in the jacuzzi next door.After many calls to the number provided Carla did her best trying to reach out to the couple next door via phone but without luck. She mentioned that the cops were on their way but no one ever arrived. I did not get any sleep that night or felt safe. The room seemed cleaned however the coffee creamer was a gum looking product and the basket it was in was covered in mold. Carla offered me a refund for the night if I wanted to leave but at 9 pm on a holiday weekend you cannot find anything under 1k per night in the area. They absolutely need someone on site to assist with check in and any other issues and should provide all guests with a gate fab if no one is there to open it as it is not safe to get out of a car at night to open a gate.

Relaxation at its finest
I went to rest, relax and that is exactly what I got. The lodge room had a patio with the most beautiful and cozy warm water jacuzzy and a hammock. Angel and Xiomara were the most helpful and nice hotel staff people. They even provide me with a beach chair to bring to the beach.I highly recommend Viento Beach Lodge!

Only stayed tgere one night. Ot enough time to give a fair review. The room was extrea small. The shower was not enclosed so water was spraying everywhere in tbe bathroom. The flow in the toilet was slow. I use it and it overflowed had to wai til the next mornings to fix it. Other than, that great. Staff was attentive and

I didn't like the shower, it takes a long time for the hot water to come out and the shape of the floor makes the water leak out. I had to use towel on the floor. The experience was good and nice, except the shower. Overall i recommend.
