Great place ... clean & nice sleep for us
We loved this hotel ... first time staying here & the property was clean & well cared for plus we loved the breakfast. We've driven back & forth from IL to FL several times and this is a new route but a keeper - hotel had a great rate & was really comfy too. Lots of places to eat & fill the car.

Not the best service.
Room smelled really musty. Shower was missing caulk and bathroom looked really old and in need of repair. There were ony 2 towels in the bathroom when we arrived. I called the front desk and asked if we could get some wash cloths and extra bath towels. I was told i had to come downstairs to get them. When we checked out i asked for a receipt and was told they couldn't print bc they were out of printer paper. I asked if they could email a receipt to me and they said they could try. Luckily, they were able to figure out how to send it.

back end fees and incidental charges
every hotel that has started this incidental charge parctice and back end fee practice i will be giving a 1 star reveiw no matter what - i will also no longer stay at these locations. this is a new practice that has started since covid and i dont tolerate being charged for things without knowing there is a charge up front. was charged 3.99 and have no idea why since i was not notified to retreive a receipt at the desk when checking out - my receipts are on hotels.com . i dont need 2 receipts to deal with and turn in for buisness expenses. all comftort inn locations will get $0.00 from me in the future.... so was it worth it? was the 3.99 worth the buisness loss from any future stays? i hope so , because that is what is going to happen. the damage is done at this point, had to deal with BS from my office over not having a receipt for charges i didnt know i incured so there we go folks. i dont want a call or responce i am not waisting another second of my time on this.
