Quaint hotel with great staff. Nice meals. Stunning sunsets from the front porch. Only discomfort we had was in the room at night - the air conditioner was rather noisy and the bedsheet too thin. So it was difficult to sleep through the night as the air conditioner was rattling away and it was cold. Turning it off made it too warm!

Hotel a the beach, rooms ok.
Were there for a short stay, nice location at the beach, but the beach is unfortunately too shallow to swim. Friendly staff, small pool, overall a good stay, but hotel could do with some renovation. A few take away and supermarkets closeby.

Nice lead back retro styled hotel, located straight on the beach. Sea view. Only 19 rooms, so very quiet. Good food. Friendly and helpful staff.

Totally relaxing
The location was perfect right next to the beach and a 10 minute walk to supermarkets and a couple of restaurants. Amazing views from our large balcony. We chose to eat in the restaurant most nights as the view was so lovely as was the fresh seafood. Totally chilled location and the staff were all super lovely and friendly and can help you organise more personal tours. Highly recommend and would return.

Palm Beach er et vakkert hotell, med en enda vakrere utsikt over Grand Anse bukta. Tidevannet gir ulike blikk, der lange sandbanker kommer frem ved lavvann, og fiskebåtene kommer inn ved høyvann.
Rommene er rene og romslige, med egen uteplass.
Det er kort vei til matbutikker, apotek, spiseplasser og noe shopping. Lokalbussen stopper like utenfor og gjør det lett å dra til de vakre strendene i nordvest (Lazio og Georgette).

Magnifique chambre avec vue sur l'océan. Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable au Palm Beach. Les serveurs sont très gentils, les petits déjeuners excellents. Nous avons apprécié l'emplacement, proche de boutiques et take away. La piscine est également un point très positif! Je ne peux que recommander d'y séjourner!

- Bushaltestelle direkt vor dem Hotel
- Schönes Gebäude (alte Villa) in dem sämtliche Zimmer in Richtung des Meeres ausgerichtet sind
- Gutes serviertes Frühstück, u.a.mit Eierspeisen nach Wunsch und Früchteteller
- Relativ günstiges 4--Gänge Abendmenü
- Schöner Pool mit regelmäßiger Reinigung, teilweise mit etwas trübem Wasser
- Liegen sowohl am Strand als auch am Pool
- Das Meer am Hotelstrand ist sehr flach und deshalb leider nicht zum Baden geeignet
- Mehrere Essensmöglichkeiten und Supermärkte problemlos zu Fuß erreichbar
- Gratis Safe im Zimmer
- Abseits des Gartens wirkt die Umgebung etwas ungepflegt, evtl. Ist das Hotel dafür aber nicht zuständig
- Meines Wissens können an der Rezeption Autos angemietet werden, dies haben wir aber nicht genutzt

Das Hotel ist ganz nett, allerdings sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Es liegt ein gewisser Renovierungsstau vor. Ansonsten Restaurant okay aber mehr auch. Ausgeh- und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten dind fußläufig erreichbar.
Strand eignet sich nicht zum Schwimmen, aber tolle Sonnenuntergänge.

Allt var bra på Palm beach hotel: mycket vänlig och serviceinriktad personal. Rent och välordnat på både rummet och i allmänna utrymmen. Vi hade ingen bil men blev guidade runt ön av mycket sympatisk man som hotellet ordnade.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im Palm Beach Hotel. Der Service war unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Frühstück, welches am Tisch serviert wurde, ausgezeichnet. Von den Zimmern aus hat man einen traumhaften Blick auf das Meer, der Pool ist eingebettet in tropische Pflanzen. Auch die Nähe zu einem Ort mit einigen Take Aways und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten war sehr praktisch. Wir konnten direkt im Hotel ein Auto mieten und die Insel erkunden. Wir würden sofort wieder hier buchen!

Schöne Unterkunft mit schöner Lage!
Das Hotel verkörpert noch den Kolonialstil von früher mit wirklichem Charme. Uns wurde von dem Personal immer herzlich begegnet und wir bekamen zahlreiche Tipps. Die Unterkunft liegt praktisch gelegen, um mit einem 5-10 minütigen Fußmarsch Grand Anse mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Banken, Restaurants und Take Aways zu erreichen. Ebenso liegt es nahe dem Nationalpark Vallée de Mai. Da eine Bushaltestelle direkt vor dem Hotel liegt, kann man auch die örtlichen Busse nehmen. Eine wahre, abenteuerliche Erfahrung, die eine sehr günstiges Alternative zu einem Mietwagen ist.
Anzumerken ist aber trotzdem, dass man gerade beim Frühstück Besuch von zahlreichen Tauben und anderen Vögeln hat. Zwar ist das schon süß, aber da sie auch vom Personal gefüttert werden, sind sie über die Zeit zahm geworden und fliegen auch mal auf den Tisch.
Außerdem muss man immer gucken, wann man duscht. Es kann sein, wenn gerade sämtliche Gäste duschen oder geduscht haben, dass es nur begrenzt warmes Wasser gibt. Zwar sind die Duschen nie eiskalt, jedoch sollte man sich darauf einstellen, dass es etwas kühler werden kann als sonst, aber noch absolut aushaltbar ist.
