6/10 Buono

Beautiful hotel, unfortunately the rooms were basic for the price, dusty in the corners, windows and cills filthy, however clean comfortable bed/linen and bathroom. The location was convenient for our stay but very noisy high street, forget your Sunday morning lay in unless you want the church alarm bells waking you early. On par with Travelodge, a step behind Premier Inn.

Great location, relative to Banbury (plenty of town walks + night life close by) Though there is no free parking nearby (parking included with stay). Old decor, large room, not the greatest up keep. But ok for the price. Conference venue, so plenty of people pottering about. Only a 1 night stay, so pleasent enough.

Clean and spacious room, good breakfast, and good parking. Staff on the desk and at breakfast were very friendly and for the price the breakfast was good. We stayed in the older part of the property and loved the old features in the room so worth the extra cost

Food very poor, rooms not replenished with tea and coffee, beds not made. This is not a 5 star hotel

Sustainability was had to understand. I know that towels need not to be washed but there was no restocking of tea facilities or tidying of room.

Lovely positioned hotel, town walking distance with everything you need for an evening out. Great hotel throughout and free and easy parking at the rear of the hotel. Would definitely stay again and thoroughly recommend to others. Thank you to all at the hotel.

Quite narrow access to the carpark. Renovations were on going during the visit, our room was nice but the entrance etc was still in progress so was messy but not a true reflection. We were told of a wedding on the second night, it must have been booked well in advance but we were not told until 2 days before so we're stuck with it. It was very noisy and went on very late with no attempt to turn it down come midnight.. the food was o.k. though I wish I had tried somewhere in town instead. Breakfast is buffet style but they struggle to keep it fully stocked up.
