We visit the Myrtle Beach area often and this LaQuinta has been our "go-to" hotel for it's location and it's normally very good, but this stay was nowhere near our normal experience. I actually had to fix the toilet seat in our room as it was about to fall off the toilet. Normally the rooms are very clean, but the area inside the cabinet where the refrigerator is was not clean at all and was actually pretty pretty filthy! In addition, breakfast selection and cleanliness were very subpar.... no creamer for the coffee and the "hot" food was basically unavailable and nobody seemed to be manning the area, even at 8am. The area itself looked unkempt and needed to be cleaned, so needless to say, we went elsewhere for breakfast. I really expected much more from this location as it's usually very good. Aiden, at the front desk was awesome, so this isn't on him, but it's like LaQuinta, as a whole, took some steps backwards. I hope this review wakes the management up, or we may have to find a new "go-to" hotel.
