I recently stayed at this hotel and was immediately impressed by its great location and warm, friendly staff. The central setting made exploring the area incredibly convenient, and the direct access to my suite was a definite plus.
However, there were a few areas that could use some attention. The key to the elevator for my suite didn’t always work smoothly, and some aspects of the property seem to be in need of renovations. My room overlooked a courtyard where music played until midnight, which might be a fun atmosphere for some, but could be a bit too lively for light sleepers.
Additionally, while the Michelin star restaurant boasts an impressive reputation, I found the prices a bit steep for the quality of the dishes served—one seafood dish, in particular, had an unpleasant aroma. I had also requested a table overlooking the coliseum at the time of booking, and although this was confirmed, it wasn’t available upon arrival.
Overall, while there are some areas that need improvement, the hotel’s fantastic location and friendly service really stand out. With a few upgrades, it has the potential to be a truly exceptional destination.
