The property failed to disclose that major maintenance works were taking place, yet charged me the full amount for accommodation that was noisy, disruptive, and completely unfit for habitation.
I would like to make it explicitly clear that I have a medical condition that requires complete rest and uninterrupted, comfortable sleep. In addition, I am an athlete, and sufficient quality sleep is essential for my full recovery and for me to perform my physical activities properly. I informed the property of both my medical condition and athletic requirements at the time of check-in.
Despite this, from the very first day I was continuously disturbed for four consecutive days. I was unable to rest at all during my stay. The environment made it impossible for me to sleep, recover, or function normally.
No meaningful solution, refund, or compensation was offered. When we escalated the matter to the manager, her behaviour was extremely unprofessional and unacceptable — she shouted at me. I have video evidence that clearly documents this incident.
The offer of a 30% refund, which I have not even received to date, is entirely inadequate and unacceptable given the circumstances. I paid in full for a service I did not benefit from in any way.
I am therefore formally demanding a 100% refund. Should this matter not be resolved immediately, I will proceed to report this case to my insurance provider and my bank as a case of misrepresentation and potential fraud.
