Inconsistent Service
I’ve stayed at this hotel many times over the last year-and-a-half when I come to Gainesville. The hotel is convenient for my personal purposes. Primarily, I like this hotel for its location, pool/hot tub and it’s breakfast bar. The rooms are in need of modernization and that requirement has not changed in the time period of my visits. Recently, I have noticed a trend during my visits. When there is an event scheduled at the hotel, which seems to happen on many weekends, their other services suffer. This past weekend was Mother’s Day. The breakfast bar on Sunday was not only sub-standard, it was horrendous. There was no omelette bar and there was no service attendant caring for the available stations. The hot food stations were in disarray and the food was cold. This is very disappointing. On the other two days of my visit to breakfast bar was available and there were attendance present in the breakfast area.
