The hotel room had a very damp odor. The smell woke me up at nights! I complained about it but was told it’s an old hotel and all the rooms smell the same. The water in the sink backed up on three separate days despite having engineering fix it twice. The first time they fixed it, they did not nail the board under the sink back into place and it fell on my 9 year old hand as she was retrieving a towel. Luckily she wasn’t hurt. Above the shower, looked like there is water leak that kept getting patched up and probably contributed to the smell of the room. When I pointed that out, the manager from house keeping just looked at me and nodded. Only once for the entire time we were there, house keeping accessed the room, removed the garbage and made up one of the two beds!!! The carpet had a huge permanent stain right under TV, you cannot avoid looking at it.
Pros: the pool area was nice. The staff were friendly. Hotel was centrally located and walking distance to almost everything we wanted to do
