One of the filthiest places I've seen
We booked this room on line. When we arrived, the clerk wanted us to go check the room before she accepted payment. I said this is a red flag. She said, well our rooms are old. This caught us off guard. Basically the choice was accept this room or go find something else. We didn't have time to find or book at another place so we accepted it, but upon closer inspection, we discovered just how filthy it was. I can live with old, but this was old and filthy. The front door was black, I was able to clean it with a regular wet wash rag. The deadbolt did not work. The toilet lid was from another size toilet. The bathtub was grimy and dirty. As we were leaving the office another couple came into the office and said they had found a cockroach on their bed and they were demanding their money back. Two of the rooms on the 2nd floor had caution tape around it.I have traveled for years and I can accept old, but old and unclean shows a total lack of concern.
